The video on this page combines manipulated video with music. The vibrant colors and shape move around the screen coinciding with the beat of the music. It is a very whimsical action but definitely keeps the viewers attention. Furthermore this experience is interactive and you can create your own versions of musical experience.

Digital Art is....

In my opinion Digital Art is a newly developing form of expression. As society expands their knowledge with technology, art expands as well. Alex Bagg's example of Graphic Art is something that most people can relate to today. I find it interesting that YouTube videos are questioned as works of art because some of them could be. Today posting a video to the public is such a simple tast that basically anyone can do it. However you can find videos created in flash or other programs on YouTube that take alot of time and effort that could be considered a piece of art. It is interesting to see how the internet can be a great way to get noticed, but at the same time that is not necessarily true. As the internet expands it is becoming harder and harder to sort through the data thrown out to users.

Simple Interactive Website

This is a simple interactive website. It caught my eye while researching interactive pages because I feel that this is something that I could create with the knowledge that I have in my New Media Design major. The website is full of simple line drawings with minimal color made into a series of animations. The simplicity of the website could be boring to some, however while playing around with the interaction for a short time I kept finding more and more mini adventures that Sally could go on. I believe that the website is meant to sell frozen yogurt, but i there is much more to it because it draws in the user to want to play. For example she can float with her balloon, bounce on the trampolines, and the user can pop the balloon. Overall this simple digital art form is a successful piece to advertise and sell a product for a company.
