New technology that is insane!

I found this on my friends facebook page and I am not sure where he saw it but I am going to do more research!...




World's First Virtual Shopping Store opens in Korea. All the Shelves are infact LCD Screens. User Choose their desired items by touching the LCD screen and checkout at the counter in the end to have all their ordered stuff packed in Bags. Isnt that Amazing?

^This is so crazy to me. Technology is awesome but doesn't it make you wonder how lazy the world is going to get if more businesses begin to run this way. Job will be lost for sure!

After talking about the recent movie Hugo in class, I researched the trailer and I am very interested in the style of the characters and imagery. Their website is also a great interactive site with a lot of flash effects! While learning the different aspects of Flash and making interactive sites in my classes, I can see the different elements I have used in my own projects. Hopefully I have the chance to see this 5 time academy award movie in the near future. It would be a great experience to see the many aspects of this work. Maybe we could even watch it in class and talk about the history of movie production!!! :)
